If you follow the official schedule for Microsoft, should Office 2010 Technical Preview version will be distributed is limited to July 2009. While the beta (trial) is available to the public will follow after that.

ArsTechnica.com leak was to install the Office 2010. In it is a variety of applications in the Office family, including Access 2010, Excel 2010, InfoPath 2010, OneNote 2010, Outlook 2010, PowerPoint 2010, Project 2010, Publisher 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010, SharePoint Workspace 2010, Visio 2010, so Word 2010.
Some of the changes noted is the absence of such a model menu of Windows applications in general. Keys ‘Office’ at the top left corner will display the menu in the form of ‘Drop Down’, but a screen with various options.
Other changes are the Ribbon display the model consistently on all Office 2010 applications. This Ribbon style was introduced in Microsoft Office 2007 and will be more widely adopted in Windows 7.
